1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Bloom, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website. If you use Bloom on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for them.
2. App license
Bloom is licensed through the Apple App Store, not sold. Your license is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a custom license appears on Bloom’s App Store product page. These Terms supplement that license for Bloom-specific features and conduct. The Apple license controls if there is a conflict about the App Store license.
3. The game
Bloom is a memory card game for entertainment. It supports local play against computer opponents and optional real-time Game Center matches for two to four players. The app does not offer cash prizes, gambling, or items with real-world monetary value.
4. Fair play and acceptable use
You may use Bloom only lawfully and for personal entertainment. You must not:
- cheat, impersonate another player, manipulate match messages, or use a modified client to gain an unfair advantage.
- interfere with, overload, probe, or disrupt Bloom, Game Center, or another player’s device or connection.
- copy, redistribute, or modify material beyond the rights granted by its applicable license or by law.
- use Bloom to violate another person’s rights or applicable law.
5. Apple services and online matches
Apple provides Game Center and the App Store under Apple’s terms. Online play requires a compatible app version, an Apple Account that can use Game Center, internet access, and Game Center availability. Matchmaking, invitations, names, and connectivity may depend on Apple’s service and the other players. Bloom cannot guarantee that an online match will be available or uninterrupted.
6. Ownership and open-source code
Bloom’s name, app icon, original visual design, text, game presentation, and other brand assets are owned by or licensed to the developer. Applicable intellectual property laws protect these assets. Bloom’s source code is separately licensed under the MIT License. That license controls your rights to the covered source code. Apple product names and marks belong to Apple Inc.
7. Updates and availability
Bloom may be updated to add, change, repair, or remove features. Compatibility can change because of operating system, device, security, or Game Center requirements. We may suspend or discontinue the app or website where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.
8. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bloom and this website are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that the app will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or third-party service. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from Bloom. This includes loss caused by unavailable online matches, lost local game progress, or third-party services. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, or mandatory consumer rights.
10. Ending use
You may stop using Bloom at any time and remove it from your device. Your rights under the app license may end if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits, remain effective after use ends.
11. Applicable law
Applicable law governs these terms without depriving you of mandatory protections available in your place of residence. Please first raise any dispute through the support contact below so the issue can be addressed informally.
12. Changes
We may update these terms when Bloom’s features, services, or legal requirements change. We will revise the effective date at the top. Your continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them where applicable law permits.
13. Contact
